The end of 2020 is rapidly approaching and we have the opportunity to be GENEROUS, GRATEFUL, and INTENTIONAL in giving our FIRST and BEST gift to Jesus this Christmas.
God gave us His FIRST and BEST gift to us through His son Jesus. It’s a JOY to GIVE!
As we prepare to wrap up another incredible year here at Proximity Church, I want to take a moment to say thank you for the beautiful generosity that you have shown this year. I am humbled and amazed as I think about the countless ways our church has given of its time, talent, and treasure. As a result, we have been able to continue the work of ministry in a very different way in the midst of a pandemic. We’ve had to be creative and use our financial resources to invest in unplanned equipment and ministry aids. We are asking everyone who calls Proximity Church home, to pray and ask God what He would lead you to give towards this year's offering over and above the tithe for the following purposes:
- To support the Care and Local Missions Ministries and meet real needs within our own church and community in the upcoming year. Whether it's helping with grieving families, buying groceries or gas, care packages to those who may be ill or experiencing life challenges, or celebrating life milestones and accomplishments, the Care and Local Missions Ministries helps to extend the hands and feet of the Proximity Church family.
- To meet the annual budget and have a strong financial close to our fiscal year. Not only does this enable us to end the year without deficit, but it positions us to move forward with strong momentum as we prepare to take some big steps of faith in the year ahead.
Please pray about giving the best gift you can this Christmas as we sow into our future and set our church up for success for 2021. Throughout the month of December, we are asking everyone to give a Year-End Christmas Offering. In 2019, we collected a Christmas Offering of over $5000! The only goal we have set this year is to have 100% participation. We may not be able to give equal gifts, but everyone can do something.
There are multiple ways to give. Be sure to indicate your gift as: "Christmas."
